Landmap Auto： A new pure electric SUV in partnership with Huawei will be released this year

　　On April 24th, Lantu Automobile, a new energy brand under Dongfeng Motor, held a spring technology conference and released a number of core three-electric technologies. Among them, the latest generation of Lanhai power system developed by Lantu Automobile has three power modes: BEV (pure electric), PHEV (hybrid) and REEV (extended range). It is the only power platform that can provide three modes in the current market.

　　At the same time, Lantu Automobile announced the latest cooperation with Huawei at the press conference. Lu Fang, CEO of Lantu Automobile, announced: "The new Lantu Dreamer will be the industry’s first MPV model equipped with Huawei’s ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system, which will be launched in the first half of next year. In addition, the new pure electric SUV model cooperated by Lantu and Huawei will be released this year, which will be equipped with industry-leading triple electric technology, intelligent cockpit and intelligent driving system."

　　On the morning of April 24th, Huawei released a new brand "Qianzhuo", including Qianzhuo ADS 3.0 high-end intelligent driving, Qianzhuo XHUD 2.0 AR navigation and other products. It is reported that Huawei Qianzhuo ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system has multiple advantages such as a new architecture, safety re-advancement, full scene penetration and parking cross-generation leadership.

　　Yu Zheng, member of the Party Committee of DONGFENG MOTOR CORPORATION, deputy general manager, and chairperson of Lantu Automobile, said at the press conference: Maintaining an open and cooperative attitude to build an intelligent ecosystem is a new tentacle for Dongfeng Lantu to accelerate its development.

　　The reporter noticed that in January this year, Lantu officially announced a strategic cooperation with Huawei. Three months later, at the 2024 Lantu Spring Technical Communication Conference, the cooperation between the two parties was officially launched, but Lantu did not disclose more details about the pure electric SUV that will be launched this year. Lu Fang used "an enhanced version of the HI model" to describe the form of cooperation between the two.

　　Huawei has three cooperation models with vehicle companies, namely the parts model, the HI (Huawei inside) model, and the smart car model that has been upgraded to Hongmeng Zhixing.

　　Lantu executives are optimistic about the market performance of Lantu Automobile this year. "Lantu Automobile will strive to achieve the goal of exceeding 100,000 annual sales in 2024 and growing by 100% year-on-year."

　　The reporter noticed that Lantu Automobile achieved 7 consecutive monthly sales in 2023 and annual production and sales exceeded 50,000 vehicles. On April 9, 2024, Dongfeng Lantu’s 100,000 new energy vehicles rolled off the assembly line.
