Get a flu shot? It is especially needed this year

Original Shanghai Xinhua Hospital Shanghai Xinhua Hospital

According to the estimate of the World Health Organization (WHO), the seasonal epidemic of influenza can lead to 3-5 million severe cases worldwide every year, and infants, the elderly and patients with chronic basic diseases are high-risk groups.

In autumn and winter, do you want to get a vaccine? The answer is: nine key groups, very recommended!

The Technical Guide for Influenza Vaccine Vaccination in China (2020-2021) suggests that the priority population for influenza vaccination includes the following: infants aged 6-23 months; Children aged 2-5; Family members and caregivers of infants under 6 months old; People in key places (kindergartens, teachers and students in primary and secondary schools); Medical personnel; Old-age care institutions, long-term care institutions, welfare homes and other crowd gathering places; Old people over 60 years old; Patients with chronic diseases; Pregnant women or women who are going to get pregnant during the flu season.

The flu vaccine needs to be vaccinated every year. It is recommended to get the flu vaccine before the flu comes every year.

At present, Xinhua Hospital has a "small flu" vaccine for infants and a "big flu" vaccine for older children and adults.

Vaccination age: people vaccinated with "small influenza" are 6 months to 35 months old; The "pandemic" vaccine is over 35 months old.

In addition to the flu vaccine, there are many vaccines worthy of special attention. Here is a list of Xinhua vaccines, small vaccines and great functions. Remember to keep them for later use!

Children’s vaccine LIST

01

Five-vaccine (second-class vaccine)

Five vaccines are combined vaccines, including pertussis, diphtheria, tetanus, inactivated polio vaccine and Hib vaccine.

The advantages are obvious: one seedling prevents five diseases! The baby can not only run the inoculation point a few times less, but also take 8 shots less, and the safety is guaranteed to reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions.

Vaccination age: 2 months old -2 years old

Appointment method:

The first step: make an appointment; ② Step 2: After the assessment is passed, the doctor will make an appointment for vaccination clinic.

Step 3: Inoculation and injection.

02

Hand, foot and mouth disease vaccine

Hand-foot-and-mouth disease (HFMD) is common in children, which is highly contagious and lacks effective treatment measures. Severe HFMD has a high mortality rate and can cause neurological complications and sequelae.

Vaccination with EV71 vaccine is the most economical and effective preventive measure to prevent and control hand, foot and mouth disease! Can reduce the risk of infection in places where children gather.

Vaccination age: 6 months to 5 years old

Appointment method: Appointment 03

Rotavirus vaccine

Rotavirus gastroenteritis is common in infants from 6 months to 3 years old. It is highly contagious and is a serious disease that harms children’s health. Rotavirus vaccine is the most effective measure to prevent rotavirus gastroenteritis.

The rotavirus vaccines we use include pentavalent imported rotavirus vaccines that can prevent five serotypes at the same time: G1, G2, G3, G4 and P1A. We also have univalent domestic rotavirus vaccine to provide protection for babies who miss the import of pentavalent vaccine.

Age of pentavalent inoculation: 6 -32 weeks (the first dose is inoculated within 90 days)

Univalent vaccination age: 2 months old -3 years old

Appointment method: make an appointment with an adult

Adult vaccine LIST

01

Herpes zoster vaccine

Up to 90% of adults have latent varicella-zoster virus, and their immune function gradually declines with age.

Herpes zoster can occur at any age. Because the immune function has returned to a low level in middle-aged and elderly people, the incidence rate has increased significantly after 50 years old, and there are about 1.56 million new cases of herpes zoster in adults aged 50 and over. Among them, people with chronic diseases will have a higher risk of herpes zoster.

Herpes zoster will bring "skin-cutting pain". The acute pain of herpes zoster may be worse than childbirth, spinal injury, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic cancer pain, etc. People who have suffered from herpes zoster are not immune for life after being cured, and there is still the possibility of recurrence.

At present, the treatment of herpes zoster is mainly antiviral and symptomatic, and there is no specific medicine. Vaccination is the most feasible preventive measure.

Vaccination age: At present, the herpes zoster vaccine is approved for adults over 50 years old and is divided into two doses: the interval between the second dose and the first dose is 2-6 months.

Appointment method: make an appointment for all ages

Pneumonia vaccine

Pneumonia vaccine mainly refers to Streptococcus pneumoniae vaccines, including Streptococcus pneumoniae conjugate vaccine PCV (trivalent pneumonia vaccine) and Streptococcus pneumoniae polysaccharide vaccine PPSV (trivalent pneumonia vaccine), which can effectively prevent infectious diseases caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae.

The survey found that the incidence of pneumonia caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae in children and the elderly over 60 years old is three times that of young people, and the mortality rate is 20-25%.

At present, pneumonia vaccine for the elderly is approved as "23-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine" in China. It is suggested that all elderly people over 60 years old should be vaccinated, especially those with chronic basic diseases (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart failure, diabetes, etc.) or immunocompromised people (radiotherapy and chemotherapy, long-term use of hormones). The basic immunization of PPSV23 is 1 injection, and it is not recommended to vaccinate those with normal immune function again.

However, those who are at high risk of serious infection and have been vaccinated for more than 5 years for the first time are recommended to be vaccinated again.

Vaccination age of trivalent pneumonia vaccine: 6 weeks old -6 years old (before birthday)

Vaccination age of trivalent pneumonia vaccine: > 2 years old.

Note: Thirteen-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide conjugate vaccine (PCV13) is recommended by pneumonia vaccine for children under 2 years old. In addition, there is no 23-price pneumonia vaccine at present, and online booking will be started in November. HPV Vaccine

Cervical cancer is the most common gynecological malignant tumor, and its incidence is closely related to human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. The data shows that the probability of HPV infection in a woman’s life is as high as 80%. HPV types 16, 52 and 58 are the most common high-risk HPV infections among women in China. HPV9-valent vaccine for school-age women in China is a multivalent vaccine that can cover high-risk HPV such as 16, 52 and 58, and can effectively prevent HPV infection, thus reducing the incidence and mortality of cervical cancer.

Vaccination age: 9-45 years old. It is recommended to vaccinate as soon as possible if conditions permit.

Note: Make an appointment for HPV vaccination clinic for children under the age of 18; Please make an appointment for an adult HPV vaccination clinic over the age of 18, and please bring your ID card when vaccinating.
